We had a great stay at a cozy homestay on a mini farm near Playa Negra and Reggae Bar. Brigitte and her sister were very friendly and the breakfast, especially the banana pancakes, was delicious. The horseback riding tour was a fun experience and Cahuita is perfect for nature lovers. Cons: It was all superb! 😊.

Close to beach. Private and quiet. Saw sloth with baby near parking. Cacao tour was fun. Night jungle tour interesting. Excellent breakfast. Good host. Lots of nature and animals. Clean and friendly. Nice people. Good food. Beautiful surroundings. Time stood still. Great location. Authentic bungalows. Magical. Sunny side up eggs and banana pancakes. Helpful staff. Cats in cabin. Horses and fireflies. Rocky the dog. Private and paradise-like. Near Playa Negra, Cahuita, Puerto Viejo. Everything needed for cooking. Personal and special place. Worth the money.

Had a lovely cabin with lots of wildlife in the garden and a short walk to the beach. the cabin had a great outside sitting area. Enjoyed the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. the location was a bit of a walk to the town area but it wasn't a problem for us. Would definitely stay longer next time.
Didn't get to see the sloth during our stay. It was a bit heartbreaking to say goodbye to the animals on the ranch as we grew close to them.

The location of the hotel is fantastic, with a beautiful beach right across the road and a short walk to downtown and a national park. Guests can enjoy the convenience of being close to the ocean and exploring the natural wonders nearby. the private cabins provide guests with their own space, complete with hammocks outside the rooms for relaxation and enjoying the ocean breeze.
The owner of the hotel did not provide much information about the area and seemed dismissive when asked questions. It would have been better if the owner had been more helpful and attentive to guests' inquiries.

Spectacular beachfront location and breathtaking views. The proximity to the beach allowed for easy access to swimming and relaxing. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing excellent service. The horseback riding tour was exhilarating and unforgettable, with experienced guides ensuring safety and fun.
Lack of communication and dismissive attitude from the owner regarding local information. This impacted the overall experience and made it difficult to find necessary amenities.

The location was perfect, just steps away from Playa Negra, and the surroundings were lush and beautiful. The cabin had all the amenities I needed, including a comfortable bed and a hot shower. The highlight of my stay was seeing the sloths in the trees right on the property. The owner, Brigitte, was incredibly friendly and helpful in arranging activities for me. I highly recommend this hidden gem for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation.

We had an amazing stay at this cabin in Cahuita. It had everything we needed, from a hot shower to a small kitchenette. The terrace with a hammock was a perfect spot to relax, and we even had private parking. The breakfast at the on-site cafe was delicious, and we enjoyed watching howling monkeys and a sloth right next to our cabin. The location was convenient, with a short walk to the beach and local restaurants. We even had the opportunity to go on a cacao tour, which was a great experience. We wish we could have stayed longer, as there was so much to do!
Absolutely nothing to say about dislikes.

The location was fantastic, just a stone's throw away from the beach. I loved waking up and being able to take a short walk to watch the waves and admire the beautiful scenery. And the breakfast included was a great bonus, giving me a good start to the day.
The wifi was quite unreliable, which was a major inconvenience for me as I didn't have any mobile data. It was frustrating trying to connect and stay connected, especially when I needed to catch up on work emails.
